Steel-frame homes built for Norwegian weather.
Houses and cabins with a load-bearing frame of light, galvanised steel. We are preparing an offer adapted to Norwegian requirements (TEK17) — register your interest today and hear from us first.
Why steel?
Won’t rot
Steel doesn’t absorb moisture, and neither fungi nor insects attack the frame.
Keeps its shape
No shrinking or twisting — walls stay straight, with fewer cracks in the finishes.
Non-combustible
The steel frame itself does not burn.
Precise prefabrication
Profiles are cut and pre-drilled in the factory, so assembly on site is fast and clean.

From factory to plot
Design
We adapt the model to your plot and Norwegian requirements.
Prefabrication
The steel frame is produced with millimetre precision.
Assembly
The frame goes up on site — then insulation, cladding and interiors.
Steel in the frame. Warmth inside.
From the outside, a steel-frame home looks like any modern house — clad in timber, render or panels. The frame is insulated to break thermal bridges, and inside, everything is as you know it.

Questions & answers
What is a steel-frame home?
A home whose load-bearing structure is made of light, galvanised steel profiles instead of timber studs. Everything else is built and finished like a normal house.
Will a steel-frame home be cold?
No. The frame is insulated so that thermal bridges are broken, and we design to Norwegian energy requirements.
How much does it cost?
We will publish prices at launch. Register your interest and you will get the offer first.
Who is behind it?
Stålhus Norge is a project by VDOM24, a Polish building company in Bielecki Group that builds timber-frame and light-steel homes.
